Professional settings
In order to carry forward the essence of national folk culture, the Academy of Fine Arts established the Institute of Fashion Art and the Institute of Folk Fine Arts. In order to strengthen practical teaching, the College established the National Fine Arts Experimental Center, which consists of 14 experimental centers.
In 2007, it was rated as the first batch of provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers for art. From June 5 to 10, 2009, it was evaluated by the Ministry of Education and qualified as a national experimental teaching demonstration center construction unit. Our college has also established five professional practice (sketch) bases in Anhui, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Guizhou and other areas with strong national culture to provide services for practical teaching and scientific research. The newly-built 5,600-square-meter Optics Valley Art Museum in South-Central University for Nationalities has excellent facilities and complete functions, which will provide a first-class academic exchange environment for teaching and scientific research.
