Wang Xiaoyan, male, Han nationality. 1972 was born in Shaanxi, and 1994 graduated from Tianjin University of Arts and Crafts. At present, he is a visiting professor and director of the imaging center of Feng Jicai Institute of Literature and Art of Tianjin University; Member of the Expert Committee of China Traditional Village Protection and Development Research Center; Member of the Academic Committee of China Folk Art Heritage Protection and Research Center; Member of the Academic Committee of the Oral History Society of China Inheritors; Member of Academic Committee of China Collaborative Innovation Center for the Protection of Historic Buildings and Traditional Villages, Tianjin University. He has shot more than 20 large-scale books, such as Memory of Tianjin, Charm of Ancient Trees, Top Grade of Mianshan Giant Buddha, Complete Sculptures of China Datong, Fantasy Craft, etc., and was invited to take part in the photography of several world cultural heritage projects. Many works are collected by museums at home and abroad. Since 2005, he has participated in large-scale photo interview activities such as Shandong Day, Jilin Day, Yunnan Day, Macau Day, Xinjiang Day, Xiangxi Day, Sydney Impression, Taiwan Province Impression, London Impression and Sanya Impression. In recent years, he has published a large number of monographic works about China traditional culture at home and abroad, held exhibitions in Beijing, Tianjin, Sydney and Pingyao International Photography Festival, and won the title of Young Photographer of the Year in China in 2008.
