Qi Qingjie has long been engaged in teaching and scientific research in the fields of mine safety engineering, energy and environmental engineering. The main research directions are mine disaster prevention, air pollution prevention and clean coal combustion technology. The development of gas drainage synergy technology in low permeability coal seam has been carried out, and gratifying research results have been obtained. In the field of prevention and control of coal spontaneous combustion, the new theory and prevention technology of coal spontaneous combustion are innovatively studied, and thermokinetics is introduced into the research field of coal spontaneous combustion mechanism. The developed complete set of prevention and control technology has been successfully applied in six mining areas, including Shenhua, Datong and Fuxin, creating economic benefits of 280 million yuan, and the research results are at the international leading level. Participating in the research on comprehensive improvement technology of mine fire area and identification technology of explosion danger conditions provides key technologies and standards for effectively curbing the occurrence of serious disasters and accidents in coal mines. In the field of clean coal combustion technology, a series of original and innovative achievements have been made in the occurrence, precipitation characteristics and pollution control of fluoride in coal, which makes China's research in this field in the international leading position and highly praised by domestic and foreign counterparts.
