Sunshine College and Sunshine College of Fuzhou University refer to the same school. The predecessor of Sunshine College is Fuzhou University and Sunshine Holdings. In 20 15, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it became the first batch of independent undergraduate colleges in Fujian Province. It was separated from Fuzhou University and renamed Sunshine College.
