Xinjiang Normal University was founded in197865438+February, and its predecessor was Urumqi No.1 Normal School and Xinjiang Teacher Training Department. It is one of the "Engineering Universities for Basic Capacity Building in the Midwest".
Xinjiang Normal University, located in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is one of the "Central and Western Basic Capacity Building Engineering Universities". It is the first batch of demonstration base universities of Shanghai Cooperation Organization University, Ministry of Education, and the recipient institution of China Municipal Government's scholarship for overseas students in China. East China Normal University and Jilin University and other mainland universities jointly undertake counterpart support to Xinjiang Normal University.
