Zhejiang University of Technology Walking College: Zhejiang University of Technology Walking College is a characteristic college of Zhejiang University of Technology to train elite talents. Its predecessor is Zhejiang University of Technology, which was founded in 1998, and is composed of outstanding students selected strictly from freshmen. In 2004, on the basis of class promotion, we expanded the scale, selected a certain number of outstanding students from science and engineering and liberal arts candidates to enter the college, and implemented small-class teaching with increased difficulty, accelerated pace and emphasis on discussion and research.

At present, Jianxing College has set up mixed classes of science and engineering and liberal arts, covering more than a dozen colleges such as chemical engineering, electromechanical, information, software, architecture, science, environmental protection, pharmacy, economy and trade, politics, law and humanities.

In principle, Jianxing College of Zhejiang University of Technology enrolls 3 classes for each freshman, including 2 classes of science and engineering, 1 liberal arts class. Science and engineering are selected from high-scoring candidates in chemical engineering, machinery, information, software, construction engineering, science, environmental protection, pharmacy, economy and trade (science candidates), vocational education and other institutions. Liberal arts classes are selected from high-scoring candidates in humanities, economy and trade (liberal arts candidates), political management and other institutions. In view of the particularity of majors, science and engineering majors do not select students from architecture, urban planning and other majors, and liberal arts majors do not select students from law, English, Japanese, broadcasting and hosting, advertising, art design and other majors.
