China Ocean University does not have a south campus, but has three campuses: Laoshan Campus, Yushan Campus and Fushan Campus, covering an area of more than 2,400 mu, and is building a west coast campus. College 2 1, Basic Teaching Center 1.

China Ocean University has three new scientific research and practice vessels, namely, 5,000-ton comprehensive scientific research and practice vessel Dongfanghong No.3, 3,000-ton comprehensive scientific research and practice vessel Dongfanghong No.2, and 300-ton scientific research and supply vessel Angel 1, forming a comprehensive marine mobile laboratory system from inshore, offshore to deep sea and radiating polar regions.

The school has the first-class ability of on-site observation at sea. This school is the main supporting unit of Qingdao National Laboratory of Marine Science and Technology, presiding over the work of two functional laboratories of "Ocean Dynamic Process and Climate" and "Marine Drugs and Biological Products", and participating in the construction of the other six functional laboratories with backbone strength.
