Medical College of Qingdao University is located in the center of Qingdao, a beautiful coastal open city in China. It is one of the first medical colleges in the State Council to approve the granting of master's degree. She was founded in 1946 as "National Shandong University Medical College". 1956 was established independently and renamed Qingdao medical college. 1993, in order to meet the needs of the modernization of the country and Qingdao, it was merged into Qingdao University and called "Medical College of Qingdao University". The college now has two national key disciplines: physiology and ophthalmology.
The college has nine undergraduate majors: clinical medicine, medical laboratory science, stomatology, medical imaging, preventive medicine, nursing, pharmacy, biotechnology, food science and engineering, among which clinical medicine is a provincial key major and a national major. In February 2002, the Ministry of Education approved the addition of seven-year programs to this major.
