Meishi Film Academy of Chongqing University is a film and television art school established by Chongqing University, Hongkong Shi Mei Power Group (Holdings) Co., Ltd. and Shi Mei (USA) Radio and Television Co., Ltd. with the approval of the Ministry of Education according to relevant national laws and regulations. It is the second film academy in China after Beijing Film Academy and one of the 32 colleges in Chongqing University. Meishi Film Academy is the 17th College of Chongqing University and the first film academy established in a comprehensive university in China. Meishi Film Academy of Chongqing University is a college directly under Chongqing University (non-private independent college or three colleges). Each major of undergraduate course implements credit system, major and minor system, second major system, excellent student system and scholarship system. When undergraduates graduate, Chongqing University issues diplomas and degree certificates, which can recommend a certain number of graduate students to our school and other key universities in China.
