The newly established National Defense University, Academy of Military Sciences and National University of Defense Technology are all at the level of Zheng Da War Zone. The presidents and political commissars of National Defense University, Academy of Military Sciences and National University of Defense Technology are all at the district level. There is no difference with the rank of the former Zheng Da Military Region. The reason for the adjustment is that on the basis of the comprehensive reform of military academies, the training direction, functions and personnel within the academies have been appropriately adjusted.
