(1) General situation

In 20 13, the key laboratory of the Ministry of Land and Resources hosted 142 academic conferences at home and abroad, including 2 international academic conferences1times, accounting for14.8% of the total number of conferences; 55 domestic academic conferences, accounting for 38.7% of the total number of conferences; 16 regional meetings, accounting for11.3% of the total number of meetings; There were 50 academic conferences in the academic field, accounting for 35.2% of the total number of conferences. 265 foreign experts and scholars were invited to give lectures, 490 domestic scholars and experts gave lectures, 43 key laboratories sent researchers abroad to give lectures, and domestic lectures 146 times. Key laboratories participated in 293 foreign conferences and domestic academic conferences 1746 (table 20-22).

(2) Introduction of typical academic activities

1. State Key Laboratory of Continental Tectonics and Dynamics

The laboratory actively participates in academic conferences at home and abroad and conducts academic exchanges and international cooperation. For example, laboratory personnel were organized to attend the 7th China World Symposium on Geological Sciences, the 20th13rd European Geological Annual Conference (EGU), and visited the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, the autumn annual conference of American Geophysics (AGU) and the 8th Himalayan-Karakorum Symposium (HKT). The research level of the laboratory was demonstrated on the international scientific research platform, which expanded the international influence of the laboratory (Figure 10, Figure 1 1).

2. Key Laboratory of Geological Disaster Prevention and Geological Environment Protection of Ministry of Land and Resources

The laboratory actively hosted various academic conferences, and hosted (hosted) six academic conferences in 20 13, including two important international academic conferences 1 time and two domestic academic conferences. For example, from May 2065438 12 to May 2065438 17, with the advocacy and support of IAEG and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the laboratory hosted the "International Symposium to Commemorate the Fifth Anniversary of Wenchuan Earthquake", and universities and scientific research institutions from 15 countries and regions conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions around the seven major themes of the conference. Laboratory personnel made invited reports 12 times at international academic conferences and 12 times at domestic academic conferences (figure 12).

3. Key Laboratory of Karst Dynamics, Ministry of Land and Resources

In 20 13 years, the laboratory held international academic exchanges 1 time, domestic conferences 1 time, 20 international academic exchanges and 25 domestic academic exchanges. There are 40 exchange scholars in the laboratory, including 0/5 overseas scholars and 25 domestic scholars. Representative academic exchanges include: the laboratory participated in the international academic conference "Karst resources, environment and global change-understanding, mitigation and response"; Academician Yuan Daoxian and others went to the United States to attend the academic conference on "Carbon and Interface in Karst Area"; Academician Yuan Daoxian attended the 16th International Cave Congress; Laboratory researchers attended the international conference on sustainable utilization of water resources in developing countries in South Africa, and researcher Zhang attended the academic seminar on karst environmental problems and countermeasures (Figure 13).

4. Key Laboratory of Seabed Mineral Resources

The laboratory actively carries out academic exchanges on international cooperation projects, such as the fourth working meeting of Sino-Polish cooperation project "Sedimentary environment and climate evolution in China Beibu Gulf and its adjacent areas since the late Pleistocene" held in Szczecin, Poland on June 4-5, 20 13. On the basis of the third working meeting on 20 12, the meeting presented the research progress of both sides and discussed the joint work plan for the next step. After the working meeting, Polish researchers led laboratory technicians to the Baltic coast for field geological investigation, and visited the permanent field environmental observation station set up by the School of Earth Sciences of the University of Szczecin along the coast. 2065438+0165438 From October 20 to 25, 20031China-Poland cooperation project team conducted a field geological survey on Hainan Island, with the main purpose of investigating the composition, distribution and evolution characteristics of terraces in the west of Hainan Island and taking luminous samples. At the same time, whether ancient rivers develop in the rivers in the west of Hainan Island and the Changhua River Basin in Ledong is investigated, so as to further study the source-sink system developed in Hainan Delta. 2013165438+1On the morning of October 27th, Chinese and Polish scientific and technological personnel discussed the next phase of Sino-Polish cooperation projects (Figure 14).

5. Key Laboratory of Salt Lake Resources and Environment, Ministry of Land and Resources

The laboratory actively participates in academic conferences at home and abroad. For example, on March 22nd, 2006, 5438+03, 18 ~ 22, the laboratory sent people to attend the 44th Moon and Planetary Science Conference held in Woodlands, Houston, USA. Participants included almost all scientists active in the field of Mars science. They report the latest exploration and research results in the form of conference reports or exhibition board reports. Participants in the laboratory made exhibition reports entitled "Meteorological Data and Surface Temperature and Humidity Data of Dalangtan Salt Lake Area, an analogy point of Mars on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in China" and "Dalangtan Sedimentary Salt and Its Significance to the Formation and Occurrence of Mars Salt", and had extensive exchanges with colleagues. He also participated in special conferences on geochemistry and petrology, planetary environment analogy, astrobiology and planetary material analogy (Figure 15). After the meeting, I went to Washington University in St. Louis for a short visit and experimental research.
