Glucose is used as the only carbon source (the smallest medium; MM), MM+2% starch or MM+2% inulin. The tension between UM-2 and UM-7 can produce a competitive tension of 2–12. When glucose is the only carbon source, it shows that the prohibition of activities leads to opposition to the independence of 2- 12 carbon source. The tension of UM-2 is 2–12, which exceeds the tension of the analysis sample with potato starch or inulin as the sole carbon source. 2- 12 can stay focused in culture, which is probably the result of 2- 12 feeding with anger. On the contrary, UM-7 did not increase, while UM-2 and 2- 12, the inferior products of starch and inulin, may decrease rapidly in continuous culture.
