Tsinghua University (English name: Tsinghua) was born in 19 1 1, named after Tsinghua campus, and located in the northwest suburb of Beijing. Formerly known as "Tsinghua School", it was a preparatory school for studying in the United States founded by the Qing government. The following year, it was renamed "Tsinghua School". The undergraduate department was established in1925; 1928 changed its name to "National Tsinghua University". 1937 after the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, the school moved south to Changsha, and jointly established "National Temporary University of Changsha" with Peking University and Nankai University. 1938 moved to Kunming and changed its name to "National Southwest Associated University"; 1946 moved back to the original site of Beijing Tsinghua Campus.
Tsinghua University, directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), was ranked as "Project 2 1 1" and "Project 985", and was selected as "Everest Plan", "Project 20 1 1". It is a member of C9 Alliance, Association of East Asian Research Universities, Pacific Rim University Alliance and Tsinghua-Cambridge-MIT Low-carbon Energy University Alliance, and has set up a deputy ministerial level.
Tsinghua University is one of the most famous universities in China and even in Asia. Two presidents of the Republic of China, seven members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau, 14 winners of two bombs and one satellite, and more than 600 academicians all left here. Wang Guowei, Liang Qichao, Chen Yinque, Zhao Yuanren and many other academic masters have taught here.
The Central Academy of Drama is the first higher drama education institution in New China, directly under the Ministry of Education, the highest institution of drama art education in China, the headquarters of the China Higher Drama Education Alliance and the Asian Drama Education Research Center, and the activity base of the International University Drama Festival of the World Federation of Drama Institutions. The Central Academy of Drama is a world-famous art school, which occupies a place in the drama education of UNESCO.
The history of the Central Academy of Drama can be traced back to the National Academy of Drama (1935+00, 18 was established in Xuejiaxiang, Nanjing) and Yan 'an Luxun Art Institute (19, established in April, 65438). On February 1949, the Central Academy of Drama officially opened. On April 2nd, 1950, the inaugural meeting of the Central Academy of Drama was held, and the name of the school was inscribed by President Mao Zedong.
The Central Academy of Drama has two campuses, Dongcheng Campus is located at No.39 Dongmianhua Hutong, Dongcheng District, Beijing, and Changping Campus is located at No.4 Hongfu Middle Road, Changping District, Beijing. The total area of the two campuses is about 230,000 square meters, and the construction area is about 6.5438+0.8 million square meters.
