Distribution of Shandong University Campus
Shandong University now has six campuses: Jinan Central Campus, Hongjialou Campus, Baotuquan Campus, Qianfo Mountain Campus, Software Park Campus and Xinglong Mountain Campus. Shandong University, directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) and directly under the Central Government, ranks among the first-class universities in the world and is the origin university of modern higher education in China.

Shandong university center campus

Formerly known as the new campus of Shandong University East Campus, the campus construction started at 1958 when Shandong University moved from Qingdao to Jinan, and was renamed in 2009. At present, the campus is the location of the Department of Shandong University (Mingde Building), located at No.27, Shanda South Road, Jinan City, Shandong Province, and the new landmark of Qilu Zhixin Building is located on the campus. This campus is the largest mountainous area at present.

Shandong University

Hongjialou Campus of Shandong University, also known as the old school of Shandong University, is located at No.5 Hongjialou, Licheng District, Jinan City, Shandong Province, east of Hongjialou Catholic Church. At present, it includes three colleges: Foreign Languages College, Art College and Law School (School of Political Science and Public Administration, School of Philosophy and Social Development, and School of Physics have moved to the new campus of Shanda). Because there are many flowers and trees on campus, it is called "Botanical Garden" by students.
