Painter Shen Liping was born in Yinchuan, Ningxia on 1957. Yinchuan was once the hometown of the ancient Xixia Dynasty in China. As a tough nomadic people, in a relatively short period of 100 years, it has also developed its own unique cultural and artistic brilliance, and can still trace back many fascinating mysteries from the ruins ravaged by history. Xixia's wild calligraphy is called "heavenly book", and Xixia's unfathomable knowledge is regarded as "juexue". But the spirit and natural scenery of this nation have always been in the forefront of the north. It constantly reveals the imaginative and mysterious visual artistic charm for the great motherland. -Shen Liping's modern black and white prints also give us a strong and beautiful impression.
Shen Liping studied in the painting workshop of our department 1989— 199 1 year. 1979 graduated from the art department of Hunan Normal University, and then returned to his hometown of Yinchuan to work as a professional painter in Ningxia Painting and Calligraphy Institute. Similar to most similar art education modes, so is Shen Liping's traditional Chinese painting. However, her own comprehensive quality has created modern prints with lines and black and white as the main language, which is very personal.
Different from all painters, the creation background lies in the "Ningxia1July 23rd, 993 catastrophic air crash" that Shen Liping suffered. Her husband and 12-year-old son suffered the most severe disability test, death threats and purgatory-like pain. Shen Liping gave birth to her son's courage and perseverance to overcome disability with maternal care, and gained a new life. Her son also tearfully described his tragic experience-"the blue sky supporting life-the plane crash and me". The title of the article is: "I would like to dedicate this to my most loving mother who gave strength in her suffering." 200 1, Shen Liping won the title of "Top Ten Outstanding Mothers in China".
Shen Liping deeply recorded her thoughts and true feelings in a series of her creative thoughts, such as Xixia Ancient Country, Bird Paradise, Oriental Charm, Homecoming Style and so on. She said that these works were sublimated through the experience of love and pain through gratitude and love for life and art after experiencing special hardships in life ... I found the best way to eulogize my life. In many of these works, the author does not focus on the specific plot and reproduce nature, but creates "paintings of the soul". The bird I painted is half what I saw in my eyes and half what I thought in my heart. Therefore, the author pays more attention to "strengthening the visual effect and modal structure of the picture to reflect the true feelings of my inner world". Her unique expression and thinking also make each work more aesthetic with independent artistic value, which is neither an illustration nor a photo. The author has found a expressive language that is good at expressing his inner feelings-combining black and white, lines and blocks to interpret his special feelings about history and life. However, in each of her works, although there are some differences in the treatment of picture structure or expression techniques, she always focuses on the praise and care for the spirit of life, especially the main image and dynamic changes of the picture, and even the treatment of details and subtle depiction can be broad and meticulous, thoughtful and purposeful, so it often gives people a feeling full of life.

Mr Shen Liping was born in a scholarly family, and his father was a scholar. Regardless of good times and bad times, he is optimistic and open-minded, loves life and likes to grow flowers. Shen Liping grew up among the pleasant flowers in front of and behind these houses. One Spring Festival, my father looked at the hanging New Year pictures and couldn't help saying: He is the smartest person in the world, and he can show flowers and trees flying in the sky, running on the ground and even in nature in the pictures!
Father's words deeply touched Shen Liping's young heart, and also took root in her heart, making her embark on the road of painting art, persevering, and finally bearing fruitful results.
In the early 1990s, Shen Liping's son experienced an unusual ordeal, that is 1993 Yinchuan "July 23rd air crash". With her amazing perseverance and broad maternal love, Shen Liping helped her son overcome difficulties and created a miracle of life. Perhaps, it is this life experience of life and death that makes us better understand the meaning of life, respect and love life, interpret and eulogize the deep meaning of beauty, and have the compassion that an artist should have.
Shen Liping, who is calm and detached, likes to draw lotus flowers. Most of the lotus flowers in her works have a weather-beaten pride and vitality. Shen Liping is the only person I have ever met who can paint the lotus pond very big. The lotus pond in her works can present an ocean-like scenery. Flourishing lotus roots hover between water and sky, devouring and absorbing the essence of the sun and the moon, bringing endless enjoyment and reverie to viewers. ...
Man and nature are the eternal creative themes of painters. The Lotus Pond and the Girl is the purest and most beautiful portrayal of the pursuit of harmony between man and nature in Shen Liping's spiritual world.
