Combat squad leaders or technical leaders of formed brigade-level units of combat troops, units directly under divisional units of combat troops, and independent battalion-level units of coastal defense forces may be sent to military academies for study and promoted to cadres after passing the training; College graduates participate in the selection of candidates for good soldier admission, and the age is relaxed 1 year. Under the same conditions, it is preferred to be a recommended candidate to enroll a good soldier.

Graduates who have participated in the national unified college entrance examination, the first batch, the second batch and the third batch of undergraduate courses and obtained full-time undergraduate degrees and bachelor's degrees, as well as those who have participated in the national unified postgraduate entrance examination and obtained full-time postgraduate degrees, can be directly promoted during their service.
4. Select and change non-commissioned officers. Conscripts who have completed their service and performed well shall be selected as non-commissioned officers according to the needs of their posts. Demobilization and employment
1. Resume work. The Regulations on Conscription in Henan Province stipulates that during the conscription period, citizens who are recruited or hired by organs, organizations, enterprises and institutions and are scheduled to serve in active service should give priority to fulfilling their military service obligations; Relevant organs, organizations, enterprises and institutions shall obey the needs of national defense and army building, support conscription work, and retain their employment or employment qualifications during their service. Conscripts and noncommissioned officers who have served in active service for less than 12 years were staff or workers of organs, organizations, enterprises and institutions before enlisting, and retained personnel relations or labor relations during their service; After retiring from active service, those who choose to return to their original units shall enjoy the treatment of employees with the same position and length of service.
2. Orientation test. During active service, being a soldier is regarded as grassroots work experience. When recruiting civil servants, political and legal police officers, public institutions and state-owned enterprises, they are used to recruit qualified retired soldiers according to a certain proportion. When recruiting political and legal police officers, if they have obtained a college degree or above in full-time ordinary colleges and universities before joining the army, the total score of written test scores in education examinations will increase by 10. When recruiting grassroots military cadres, priority is given to recruiting outstanding retired non-commissioned officers and college students.
3. Command position. Non-commissioned officers who have been in active service 12 years or more, retired soldiers who have won second-class merit in peacetime or third-class merit in wartime during active service, and children of martyrs who have been disabled due to war, will be assigned jobs by the government. In line with the above conditions, active service in hard areas and special posts is preferred.
4. Back to school discount. Retired soldiers who have been admitted to or are studying in ordinary colleges and universities before joining the army are allowed to enroll or resume their studies within 2 years after retiring from active service. After entering school or during the resumption of school, you can get credits directly without taking public sports, military skills, military theory and other courses; After graduation, it is preferred to participate in national defense students, rural grassroots service projects organized by the state, and selection of officers.
5. School is preferred. Within three years after retirement, the total score of the initial examination of master students will increase by 10, and it is recommended that master students be exempted from class II and above (referring to the initial examination); Those with higher vocational (junior college) education will be admitted to adult undergraduate courses without examination after retirement or to ordinary undergraduate courses after certain examinations; Those who have won the third-class merit or above will be admitted to ordinary undergraduate courses without taking the test after completing their studies in higher vocational colleges (junior colleges). Ex-servicemen enjoy the policy of adding points to the college entrance examination: 20 points will be added to ex-servicemen who have won the second-class merit (inclusive) or been awarded the honorary title by units above the military region (inclusive) during their service, and 10 points will be added to self-employed ex-servicemen.
6. Support employment. Retired soldiers participate in vocational education and skills training free of charge within 1 year after retirement; Retired soldiers engaged in self-employment will receive tax incentives and small secured loans, and retired soldiers engaged in low-profit projects will receive financial incentives. Except for industries restricted by the state, administrative fees for management, registration and license shall be exempted within 3 years from the date of first registration with the administrative department for industry and commerce. Business tax, urban maintenance and construction tax, education surcharge and personal income tax will be reduced or exempted within 3 years, with a maximum of 9600 yuan per household per year. After retiring from active service 1 year, college graduates can be regarded as fresh graduates of colleges and universities, and they can go through the employment registration formalities again in the original colleges and universities with the formalities of employing units.
Financial assistance
1. Priority payment. If the on-the-job staff and workers are enlisted for active service, the original unit shall issue all wages, bonuses and various subsidies for the month when they are approved to join the army. During the period of conscripts, the local government gives family preferential payments every year. Our province stipulates that the preferential payment for rural conscripts shall not be lower than the local per capita net income of farmers in the previous year, and the preferential payment for urban conscripts shall not be lower than the local minimum wage standard for employees in urban units in the previous year. In 20 14 years, the preferential payment for conscripts in our province is between 5700- 18000 yuan per person. The local government also gives a one-time economic reward to those who have rendered meritorious service in the army or volunteered to serve in remote and hard areas.

3. Subsidy expenses. After joining the army, basic necessities of life and medical care are provided by the state, and they enjoy retirement pension, retirement medical care and retirement unemployment insurance.
