Did Zhejiang University carve Longquan or something?
Ye Fang Zeng Jia Dawu was once the Longquan branch of Zhejiang University. Ye Fang was originally named Fang Xia. 1June, 939, Zhejiang University opened a branch school in Longquan, and the school site was chosen here. Professor Zheng, the director of the branch school, is from Haining. In Haining, "Fangxia" and "Ye Fang" are homophonic, and "Fangxia" was naturally renamed as "Ye Fang", which has been in use ever since. This house was built by Zeng Shuiqing, a village gentleman, in the Republic of China 10 (192 1), so it is called "Zeng's big house". Longquan Branch of Zhejiang University has studied here for 7 years, enrolling 7 students, with about 1 000 students. It has trained a large number of famous professors and scientists at home and abroad. Now it is a municipal key cultural relics protection unit. References:
