Brief introduction of Peking University International Hospital
Located in Peking University Medical City (Zhongguancun Life Science Park, Changping District, Beijing), Peking University International Hospital is the flagship project of the Medical City. With the mission of "building a world-class hospital and leading the reform of medical system", the hospital was jointly invested and built by Peking University and Founder Group.

As the ninth affiliated hospital of Peking University Medical Center, Peking University International Hospital has been strongly supported by Peking University Medical Center and its affiliated hospital system in medical treatment, teaching and scientific research, and strives to integrate resources, inherit and innovate the disciplinary advantages of Beijing medical system, provide high-quality medical services and medical environment, meet the people's growing demand for medical services, and establish a hospital management model and standard in China that is in line with international standards.

The hospital covers an area of 298 mu with a total construction area of 440,000 square meters. The total investment of the project is 4.5 billion yuan, and the number of approved beds is 1.80. The hospital has 36 centers and 49 disciplines.

In terms of information construction, the hospital information system will reach HIMMS (American Institute of Medical Information and Management Systems) level 7. As the clinical teaching hospital of Peking University Medical Center, the hospital has an independent science and education building and a 3,500-square-meter central laboratory, which undertakes the task of training, teaching and scientific research bases for cultivating the next generation of international medical talents. Peking University International Hospital will officially open in February 20 14.
