It is more difficult to fail in four courses. There is a saying on the degree certificate of Hefei University: Four courses seven times. It means that during the period of studying at school, if you fail seven or more specialized courses or make-up exams (whether specialized courses or not, including basic courses), you will not be able to obtain a degree certificate when you graduate.

If you exceed the requirements, there are other ways to make up for it, such as being admitted to graduate school, publishing papers in academic journals above the provincial level or winning prizes in national competitions. It is allowed within three years after graduation, and you can apply for a delayed degree first.

Tip: The number of times the degree certificate of Hefei University has failed is a subject course in the final exam. Even if it passes the make-up exam, it should be counted.

Interim Measures for Extension of Bachelor's Degree in Hefei University

Article 1 These Measures are formulated in accordance with the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of Bachelor's Degree Awarding in Hefei University and in combination with the actual situation of our university.

Article 2 Under any of the following circumstances, you may apply for the restoration of the qualification for bachelor's degree evaluation after graduation.

1. In June of my graduation year, I took the CET-4 and CET-6. If I pass the exam, I can re-count the exam of bachelor's degree according to the sixth paragraph of Article 6 of the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Award of Bachelor's Degree in Hefei University, and decide whether to award the corresponding bachelor's degree according to the re-counted results.

2. Before the deadline for extending funding, publish relevant papers in journals above the provincial level.

Article 3 Working procedures for extension of bachelor's degree

1. Accept the application: Graduates should submit a written application to the Academic Degrees Committee Office (located in the Academic Affairs Office) within one month after graduation. Those who meet the requirements fill in the Application Form for Extension of Bachelor's Degree in Hefei University.

2. Evaluation of bachelor's degree: The office of the Academic Degrees Committee will submit the application forms submitted by various departments to the meeting of the Academic Degrees Committee for evaluation. The Academic Degrees Committee will make a decision of "agreeing to postpone the award of the degree" and "not postponing the award of the degree", and students who agree to postpone the award of the bachelor's degree will submit relevant materials within the extension period, and the academic degree evaluation committee Office will issue a bachelor's degree certificate after examination and approval.

Article 4 The deadline for extension is tentatively set as August 36 of the year when the degree is awarded.

Article 5 These Measures were discussed and adopted by the Academic Degrees Committee of our college on June 22, 2009, and shall come into force as of the date of adoption. These Measures shall be interpreted and implemented by the Academic Degrees Committee Office of the Academic Affairs Office.
