Xidian university, located in Xi City, Shaanxi Province, is a public, double-class, 2 1 1 college. Its predecessor was the Broadcasting School of the Central Military Commission. Xidian university was established by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and China Electronics Technology Corporation.
