The Journey to the West's Reading Comprehension
I read a very interesting book during the holiday. Its name is The Journey to the West. This book mainly tells the story of three Tang Priests, Master and Apprentice, who went to the Western Heaven to learn Buddhist scriptures.
There are four protagonists in the story, namely: Tang Priest, the Monkey King, Pig Bajie and Friar Sand.
Master's name is Xuanzang. He was a monk in the Tang Dynasty, so he was also called Tang Priest. Under the guidance of Guanyin Bodhisattva, he surrendered to three disciples, who protected him and went to the Western Heaven to learn Buddhist scriptures. He is kind-hearted and very loyal to the Buddha. It is because of his perseverance that this team has completed the task of learning from the scriptures in unity.
My brother's name is the Monkey King, also known as the Monkey King and Bi. He is a monkey jumping out of a stone. Become the king of water curtain cave in Huaguoshan, and learn from seventy-two changes. He can also turn a somersault cloud, which is very powerful. He was crushed by the Tathagata Buddha at the foot of Wuzhishan Mountain for 500 years because he made a scene in the Heavenly Palace, and was not saved until the Tang Priest came. Thanks to his golden eye and golden hoop, he defeated the devil, conquered all the way and won.
The second brother's name is Zhu, also known as Zhu Bajie. He used to be the marshal of Tian Peng in heaven. He made a mistake and was demoted to the world. He became a pig essence. When Gao Laozhuang wanted to marry, he was caught by the Monkey King and became the second disciple of Tang Priest. He is a fat boy, lazy, and often pulls the Monkey King's back, causing a lot of trouble, but he can enliven the atmosphere, which is a great pleasure for the team.
The third brother's name is Sha Wujing, also known as Friar Sand. He was originally a general who rolled the shutter in the sky. He accidentally broke the jade emperor's glass and was banished to Liushahe as a monster. The Monkey King and Zhu Bajie subdued him, and four mentoring teams went to the Western Heaven to learn Buddhist scriptures. Friar Sand is not strong in force, smooth in character, but obedient. He is a very honest man who can work.
These four people have different personalities and advantages and disadvantages, but they are United for the same goal, defeating monsters such as Bai He Spider Essence on the Western Heaven Road, and finally gaining the true scriptures through three battles with the country and the test of borrowing a banana fan.
The stories in Journey to the West are colorful, and I especially admire Wu Cheng'en's imagination. If you are interested, please join me in the magical world of Journey to the West and take risks with Tang Priest and his disciples!
The Journey to the West Reading Comprehension II
This is a novel with the dual nature of fairy tale and myth. It tells the story of Tang Priest's master and disciples who went through difficulties and obstacles along the way, defeated evil spirits and gained the true scriptures in the 81 difficulties. It is this wonderful and bizarre story that attracts me to read. This book has more than 800,000 words. In a few days, I finished reading this book with more than 1000 pages.
Journey to the West has created four vivid characters: Tang Priest sincerely converted to Buddhism, stubbornly persisted, and wholeheartedly sought truth from the scriptures; The Monkey King's justice is heroic, miraculous, affectionate and righteous, and can exorcise demons; Pig Bajie is greedy for money, lustful, afraid of death and lazy, but he is not short of kindness and sometimes brave; Friar Sand is kind-hearted, honest and unknown. These four masters and apprentices have their own characteristics and different personalities, which just forms a sharp contrast. This makes me have to admire Grandpa Wu Cheng'en's superb writing skills. Perhaps his ability to portray characters is the subtlety of his writing. Of the four disciples, I like the Monkey King best, because he has great skills, is not afraid of hardship, is broad-minded and loyal to Tang Priest. When he was wronged by a confused and opinionated Tang Priest, he didn't remember his predecessors, but he was still desperate to protect Tang Priest who was threatened by monsters, and protected him all the way to learn the scriptures smoothly. Moreover, the Monkey King has a rebellious attitude. I really admire his brave spirit of fighting against powerful forces. Since then, he has become a great hero in my mind.
I think our academic performance is what we want to achieve. Some people are like Shahe River, sincere and upright! I will not be perfunctory about anything, but always learn the profoundness and mystery of Buddhism bit by bit! Some people, like the Monkey King, are lively, resourceful, especially smart and have a good interest in learning. When they get home, they always review what they have learned that day, instead of previewing what they have not learned and consolidating their knowledge.
On the other hand, some people are lazy and have no patience for anything.
We should not be lazy like pigs, but be determined to learn and "get the true scriptures" like Tang Priest, the Monkey King and Friar Sand!
I'm afraid the true meaning of this The Journey to the West is only understood by Grandpa Wu Cheng'en, and my level is only superficial. But in any case, the journey to the west is always the favorite of the masses. We can feel a wonderful, humorous and stirring legendary story written by Grandpa Wu Cheng'en. There are many reasons for this. These are my feelings, and everyone's experience is different. I believe you will have a new understanding.
Reading Comprehension of Journey to the West III
The Journey to the West in Wu Cheng'en presents a magical and surreal world to the world. People always say that Journey to the West likes to watch Wukong fight with monsters, or watch the holy monk Purdue's asceticism all the way. In essence, what the world is keen on is only the kindness and pleasure of the characters in the book, but also the freedom that the world yearns for.
The Monkey King was born in a crevice, with no human feelings, only the innocence of children. At the beginning, he was carefree in Huaguoshan and became the first king of water curtain cave. He lived a carefree life by adhering to the survival concept of not attacking me, not attacking me, until the jade emperor took precautions and ordered him to be hired as a fairy, so that the stubborn monkey got a leisurely job. But the Great Sage is free by nature, and he insists on everything. How can he watch a thousand miles of good horses be restricted by the gods and not be free? How can he control his desire in the face of delicious flat peaches? However, the system of rules and regulations does not allow him to go his own way, and the self-esteem of the immortal does not allow a stone monkey to violate the majesty of the Heavenly Palace. So the encirclement rushed to the Great Sage. Outside the Huaguo Mountain, the Great Sage knew that he was wrong and gave in again and again, and did not conflict with the mountain soldiers. But the soldiers were determined, forcing the Great Sage to retreat, and he had to resist this road. So the Great Sage killed his eyes and washed heaven with blood.
Finally defeated by the Tathagata, he lived in Wuzhishan for several years. In fact, the reality is the same. All so-called rebellions will be suppressed by the so-called authorities. Rulers who are used to making their own rules don't allow outsiders to be a little different. How can anyone like such a world? So all good sustenance is in virtual literary works.
In that book world as dirty as reality, even the devil has a purer purpose than human thought. The Monkey King's first master named him Wukong. All the three thousand worlds are colored, but the color of Buddha's words is empty. "All the worlds are Wukong" means that the heart in the world is empty, leaving no impurities. If you can see through all the colors in the world, you can be carefree and know everything outside. From a human point of view, it is certainly a relief to be able to pull yourself out of the complicated world, but in reality, if people can't reach the realm of detachment, they can only put themselves in novels, bring themselves into the fearless and fearless role of the Monkey King, make a scene in heaven, dominate the deep sea and live only for themselves.
This is a yearning for a better world, an escape from reality, and a silent protest of the world in the face of imperial power and taxes! However, in literary works, no matter how the content accuses the boundless darkness, the ending will definitely compromise with the authority. This is the limitation of the times, and it is also the literary workers themselves who paint the ground as a prison. Their rational or romantic feelings are based on the expectation of the future.
No matter how dark the reality is, their eyes will always catch even a little light, which will illuminate their souls. Although it is a magic novel, every word is whipping the reality, and the author's rebellion and cowardice are vividly displayed. His mental unwillingness and physical struggle are all condensed into a chapter of The Journey to the West.
What I appreciate is the dance of unruly soul and cruel reality written by the master. If the world is Wukong, then people don't need to call people. In my opinion, "Wukong" is to realize the emptiness and the truth of life. It is enough to live seven points fully, and to stay three points confused so as not to get stuck in trouble.
Reading Comprehension of Journey to the West IV
The first time I opened this book, I was fascinated by the wonderful fragments in the story. The book Journey to the West mainly tells the story of the Monkey King's birth, causing havoc in Heaven, and finally being crushed by the Tathagata at the foot of Wuxing Mountain. It also describes the story of Sakyamuni's Buddhist scriptures, Guanyin's visit to monks, Wei Zhanlong and Xuanzang's birth. Later, it mainly tells the story that the Monkey King and others saved the Tang Priest to learn from the scriptures, all the way down the demon, traveled a hundred thousand miles, and finally got back the real gold after 81 difficulties. The works are rich in imagination and vivid in humor, and have created household names such as the Monkey King, Tang Priest, Pig Bajie and Friar Sand.
My favorite clip in the book is "Running around all day, foggy every day, making friends with all kinds of immortals, very free." This sentence vividly describes the carefree appearance of the Monkey King the Monkey King.
The Journey to the West is an outstanding long fairy tale in ancient China, which can also be said to be a fairy tale. In the book, whether it's the Monkey King who changed in seventy-two, pig who is lazy and gluttonous, or fairy demons who have their own magical powers, they are all so kind, credible and vivid in our eyes! So it greatly stimulates and develops our imagination, which is the most precious thing in people. The development and progress of society cannot be separated from the rich and unique imagination of human beings!
Nowadays, the pace of people's life is getting faster and faster, and children are getting smarter and more sensible. It's just that the outside world is wonderful and my time is limited. ...
In a sense, as people grow up, there will be more "hoops" on their heads. Reading Journey to the West, maybe you can find a little pride and fighting spirit of "Dare to ask where the road is"!
Reading Comprehension of Journey to the West V
One day, I rummaged through the bookcase at will, and suddenly I saw The Journey to the West, one of China's four classical novels, written by Wu Cheng'en, a writer in the Ming Dynasty, and took it out and flipped through it. Who would have thought that this turn would get out of hand, and the wonderful story content in it deeply attracted me.
Journey to the West is a science fiction novel, which mainly tells the story that the Monkey King's master and apprentice finally got back the Buddhist scriptures after 81 difficulties.
Among The Journey to the West, the Monkey King, the Great Sage of Monkey, impressed me the most. He not only knows martial arts, but also walks around without a trace. What I admire most is his noble qualities of gratitude and generosity. As the saying goes; "The grace of dripping water, when spring comes." I think the Monkey King really did. Five hundred years ago, after making a scene in the sky, he was crushed by the Tathagata at the foot of Wuxing Mountain. Tang Sanzang just tore off the spell and let the Monkey King out. With this insignificant act of kindness, he paid it with his life. On the way to escort Tang Priest to fetch Buddhist scriptures from the West, he was observant and sometimes gave his life to save Tang Priest. What a precious spirit! What about me? How can I repay my parents for their kindness at home all day? Sometimes when my parents criticize me a little, I get angry and talk back, which is far from the Monkey King. Thinking of this, I bowed my head in shame and admired the Monkey King's kind spirit at the same time. I secretly vowed to learn from him!
I admire the Monkey King's kind spirit, and his generosity is supreme. As the saying goes, "the prime minister can punt in his stomach." On the way to learn Buddhist scriptures, the Monkey King helped Master out many times, but Tang Priest was ungrateful. He said that the Monkey King hurt his life for no reason and expelled him from school many times. But the Monkey King let bygones be bygones, tolerated Master again and again, and insisted on being with Master. Take Monkey King Thrice Defeats the Skeleton Demon as an example. White three times into a human form to confuse Tang Priest. Tang Priest is a mortal, but I didn't know she was a demon. He couldn't help but fly into a rage at the Monkey King's behavior: "You have killed people many times. Since you have no intention of doing good but of doing evil, I will no longer be your master and you will no longer be my apprentice. Please go! " With that, he got on his horse and left without looking back. The Monkey King was forced to return to Huaguoshan, but he didn't hate Tang Priest for it. Hearing that Master was in trouble, he stepped forward and rescued Master Kuaiguo, saving the day. The Monkey King is so generous! Think about yourself again. You are petty and have no tolerance for others at all. If you are not careful, you will tell others what to do or leave angrily. I remember the last time a classmate in the front row borrowed an eraser from me. I hesitated before handing him the new eraser I just bought. Who knows that he didn't connect it firmly, and the rubber fell to the ground and got dirty. I flew into a rage, yelled at him, made a mountain out of a molehill and asked him to pay for it. Now that I think about it, I really regret it. It's really wrong to ruin our friendship for a little rubber!
After reading Journey to the West, I understand that I should have a grateful and tolerant heart, learn to be grateful for everything and learn to be inclusive. If everyone does this, the world will be peaceful and beautiful forever.
