Shandong Business Vocational College, located in Yantai City, Shandong Province, is a provincial public full-time ordinary college approved by Shandong Provincial People's Government and filed by China People's and Ministry of Education. It is also a demonstration base for training high-skilled talents in the national grain and material reserve industry.

The school's predecessor was Yantai Grain School in Shandong Province, which was founded in 1975. In February 2003, it was renamed "Shandong Commercial Science and Technology School"; In April 2003, with the approval of Shandong Provincial Department of Education, Shandong Commercial Vocational College was established on the basis of Shandong Commercial Science and Technology School. In February 2006, the school was independently upgraded to an ordinary university and renamed Shandong Business Vocational College.

By the end of 20021and 12, the school has successively signed cooperation framework agreements or exchange memoranda with 20 foreign universities and industries, including Cook College in new york, Sunderland University in England, Russian Tang State University of Technology, Malaga University in Spain, Siam University in Thailand, City University of Malaysia, kayani University of Applied Science in Finland and Stanford College in Singapore.
