Age standard for enlistment 2023
Young men will be aged from 0/8 to 22 in 2023, and young women will be aged from 0/8 to 22 in 2023.

Recruitment age 18 to 2023, young men are 22 years old, college graduates and fresh graduates who meet the graduation conditions in ordinary colleges and universities are 24 years old, graduate graduates and students are 26 years old, and the junior high school graduation education level is not more than 20 years old.

Young women 18 will be 22 years old by 2023, and full-time graduate students and students will be relaxed to 26 years old. In the first half of 2022, full-time college graduates from ordinary colleges and universities were relaxed to 23 years old.

The young women recruited are fresh graduates from ordinary high schools, full-time fresh graduates from ordinary institutions of higher learning and scientific research institutions and students at school. In 2022, full-time fresh graduates of ordinary colleges and universities can sign up for the recruitment of female soldiers in the first half of 2023.

Registration process:

1, online registration

Before August 5 every year, male college students (including students and fresh graduates) who are interested in applying can log on to the national recruitment network, fill in their basic personal information, and download the Registration Form of College Students' Pre-recruitment Objects after successful registration.

In line with the conditions of national tuition assistance, the Application Form for Compensation for College Students' Recruitment Tuition and National Student Loan (hereinafter referred to as the Registration Form and the Application Form) should also be downloaded and submitted to the recruitment and student financial assistance management department of the university where it is located for review.

Step 2 prepare for the exam

Before leaving school or having a holiday, according to the notice of the school, college students bring their ID cards (household registration books) and graduation certificates (college students hold student ID cards) to participate in the preliminary examination organized by the military service organs at the county level where the school is located at the specified time. Students who are determined to be pre-enlisted shall receive the registration form and application form after being examined and sealed by the military service organs and relevant departments of the school.

3. Physical examination and political examination

College students can choose one of the school location, pre-school registration place or habitual residence as a conscript. After the start of conscription, the military service organ of the place of application will inform the college students of the specific time and place of physical examination, and the college students can carry out it according to the notification requirements.

Bring my ID card (household registration book), graduation certificate (student ID card for college students), and the registration form and registration form stamped with the seal to directly participate in the physical examination organized by the county-level conscription office in the place where you apply, and the local public security, education and other departments will conduct political examination simultaneously.

4. Visits and surveys

Those who pass the political examination and physical examination shall be notified by the county-level conscription office to the grassroots people's armed forces department of the township (town, street) where the college students are located and arranged for a visit.
