1, Wuhan University
Wuhan University is a key comprehensive university directly under the Ministry of Education, a national key construction university in the "985 Project" and "2 1 1 Project", and the first batch of "double first-class" universities.
Wuhan University, the first batch of national universities in modern China, was named National Wuhan University in 1893 and 1928. From 65438 to 0946, the school formed six colleges: arts, law, science, engineering, agriculture and medicine. From 65438 to 0999, the world authoritative journal Science listed Wuhan University as "one of the most outstanding universities in China".
In 2000, Wuhan University merged with Wuhan University of Water Conservancy and Electric Power, Wuhan Technical University of Surveying and Mapping and Hubei Medical University to form a new Wuhan University, which opened a new page in the reform and development of the university.
Over the past 20 years, the school's comprehensive strength and core competitiveness have been continuously improved. In 2022, THE school ranked 157 in the Times Higher Education (The) World University Ranking,10150 in the academic ranking of the World University of Soft Sciences, and 194 in the ranking of QS World University, an international educational research institution.
2. Huazhong University of Science and Technology
Huazhong University of Science and Technology is a key comprehensive university directly under the Ministry of Education. On May 26th, 2000, it was formed by the merger of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Tongji Medical University and Wuhan Institute of Urban Construction. It is one of the national key construction universities of "2 1 1 Project" and "985 Project", and it is the first batch of "double first-class" construction universities.

China Geo University is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, a graduate school approved by the state, a national "2 1 1 engineering" and a national "double-class" construction university.
China Geo University is located in Wuhan East Lake National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone and the hinterland of Optics Valley Science and Technology Innovation Corridor. It has Nanwangshan Campus and Future City Campus, and has field geological teaching practice bases in Zhoukoudian, Beijing, Beidaihe, Zigui and Badong, Hubei.
