Preventive medicine belongs to the Health College of Guangxi Medical University, and anesthesiology belongs to the Clinical College of Guangxi Medical University. The two majors are not in the same college, in other words, they change majors across colleges. Therefore, only when their grades in the first academic year rank in the top 5% of the whole school can they apply to transfer to anesthesiology.
The School of Public Health of Guangxi Medical University was originally named Department of Health Care and Department of Preventive Medicine of Guangxi Medical University.
