1, Introduction of Changsha Institute of Social Work
Changsha Institute of Social Work was founded by the Ministry of Civil Affairs 1984, and is now an ordinary institution of higher learning directly under the Hunan Provincial Department of Education approved by the Hunan Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Civil Affairs. The school is the first batch of (28) national demonstration higher vocational colleges and the first batch of (8) excellent higher vocational and technical colleges in Hunan Province.

2. Introduction of Hunan Industrial Vocational and Technical College
Hunan Industrial Vocational and Technical College is a higher vocational and technical college approved by the Ministry of Education 1999, and its predecessor, Hunan Industrial School, was founded in 1955. It is a national demonstration higher vocational college, the first batch of demonstration higher vocational colleges in Hunan Province and the first batch of excellent colleges in Hunan Province.
The school is located in Yuelu Science and Technology Industrial Park, Yuelu District, Changsha City, covering an area of 103 1 mu, with a construction area of 380,000 square meters and fixed assets of 678 million yuan. It has more than 2,000 sets of advanced training equipment, with the original value exceeding 1 100 million yuan and a collection of 850,000 books.
There are 448 full-time teachers in the school, including 168 senior technical post teachers above associate professor, 1 national "famous teachers", 1 national excellent teachers, 2 provincial "famous teachers", 7 provincial professional leaders, and 7 provincial young backbone teachers 17 domestic.
