Various versions of university expansion supplement
The supplement of University Yan Yi was first published in the early years of Hongzhi and reprinted in Wanli, with Ming Shenzong and Zhu Yijun as the order. In the Ming Dynasty, there were Zhang Pu, Chen, Qiao Yingjia, Yangzhou and Supplementary Books. In Qing Dynasty, there were two important manuscripts: Sikuquanshu and Xizaotang Sikuquanshu. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, scholars spread the book widely and compiled various abridged versions or narratives. For example, Ling Di-zhi in Ming Dynasty wrote seventeen volumes of Essence of University Extension, Hu Shining wrote two volumes of Research University Extension, and Chen Hongmou in Qing Dynasty wrote twelve volumes of Supplement to University Extension.
