Second, university accreditation.
Technische Universiteit Delft, located in Delft, the Netherlands, was founded in 1842. It is the oldest, largest and most comprehensive technical university in the Netherlands. As an engineering college, the proportion of people from China is less than those from Dutch universities which mainly focus on business, accounting for 20% of international students. As a top university of technology in Europe, Tianda has formed an IDEA alliance with Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Aachen University of Technology, Sweden, chalmers university of technology and Politecnico di Milano. In addition, Tianda is a member of university alliances such as EUA, 4TU and UNITECH.
1 environment
Delft, where the school is located, is located between Rotterdam and The Hague. Its area is very small, and it is basically a small city that can be visited by bike. So the bicycle culture here is very popular, and the bicycle road configuration is also perfect. Moreover, the transportation price in the Netherlands is expensive, and the one-way bus is 8- 12RMB. Therefore, if you choose to study in Daida University, if you can't ride a bike, you'd better learn it quickly! The weather in the Netherlands is generally not too hot, even in summer, it is around 20+℃, so when the weather is good, you can lie leisurely on the grass and bask in the sun. However, the reality is that the weather in Holland is very bad and it often rains heavily. Basically, umbrellas can't compete with the strong winds there, so over time you won't open an umbrella like the locals.
2. Teaching and research resources
The Advanced Research Center for Quantum Computing and Quantum Internet, founded by Dada and TNO***, is also located in Delft. The school is at the top level in the world in the field of quantum computing. It not only received financial support from NOW and the European Union, but also gathered outstanding physicists, computer scientists and other researchers from all over the world to create the first scalable quantum computer prototype and establish a stable quantum Internet. This is simply the place that many researchers dream of. Moreover, in microelectronics, it has its own chip production company and R&D center, and its aerospace engineering department has one of the most advanced six-degree-of-freedom flight simulators-Simona and flight testing machine-Cessna Citation II.
3. Teachers.
As the most comprehensive polytechnic university in the Netherlands, it has high-quality teaching and scientific research level, and the teachers in the school are naturally not bad! Search this school, and you will find that modern alumni are distributed in all walks of life, including many Nobel Prize winners. For example, in architecture, TUD's painting skills are very strong, and many paintings mentioned by the industrial design teacher of the Royal Swedish Institute of Technology are from TUD's hands. Therefore, TUD's buildings and facilities are world-famous.
By the way, all master's programs in TUD are taught in English, but undergraduate English is only taught in aviation colleges, but the elimination rate of this major is very high, and the graduation rate of this major is only 22% within five years of three-year courses.
Delft Institute of Technology has a good reputation in the Netherlands and Europe. But to tell the truth, except Niu Jian, Harvard and Yale, most people in China don't know the top 100 schools in the world. Even HR of some big companies, even famous schools like Brown and Imperial College, have never heard of it. Therefore, Delft's comprehensive strength is very strong, but its reputation in China is not great.
