The first four digits indicate the year.

The middle two digits represent the college code.

The last four digits indicate the ranking of personnel.

For example: 200203 1087 indicates that the student is a student of the School of Science in 2002.

The last four are sorted according to the initials of all students (regardless of major) in the college (in alphabetical order). For example, your surname is Ann, your name comes first, your surname is Zuo, and your name comes last.

There are no codes for departments and majors.
