Advanced Examination for Foreigners (Y? S) introduction:
All foreign students studying for a bachelor's degree must take the Y? S, that is, the international student exam. This is an advanced examination specially launched by the Student Selection Center of the Ministry of Higher Education of Turkey.
The examination content is divided into two major items: basic learning skills test and Turkish proficiency test, both of which are multiple-choice questions. The former is mainly composed of IQ test questions and a few mathematical and physical questions, as well as local and English bilingual questions. The following content is to test the examinee's Turkish reading and writing ability. It should be noted that the admission criteria of Turkish universities only follow the examination results of basic subjects.
Registration:
All referees must be foreign students who have graduated from high school. The registration time shall not be later than the middle of March each year.
The registration steps are as follows:
1. Get the exam registration form, just ask it directly or in writing.
2. To fill in the registration form correctly, you need to read the reference manual in detail. After completing the form, send it back to the selection center.
3. T/T registration fee. The reference manual mentions the current registration fee and designated account ($50 in 2007).
4. get the admission ticket. Candidates in Turkey will get the admission ticket by mail, and candidates in China need to get it at the local Turkish embassy or consulate.
5. Verify personal passport. You need to go to the foreign affairs department of Ankara Public Security Bureau to stamp and pass the pre-test authentication.
6. The only examination center in Turkey is Ankara. According to the registration, international examination centers have been established in nearly 20 other countries in the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa.
y? S is an annual event, usually held in late June or early July.
