Shanghai Maritime University Transportation College System
School of Transportation, Shanghai Maritime University, as one of the earliest established transportation engineering majors and the first batch of master's degree colleges in China, has accumulated rich experience in personnel training and subject research for more than half a century, and has gradually developed into the main base for teaching and scientific research of transportation (water transport management) majors in China.

At present, the college has a complete discipline system and a complete level of personnel training. At present, it has the right to award doctoral degrees in transportation planning and management, two master's degree awarding points in transportation engineering and transportation planning and management, two Sino-foreign cooperative postgraduate training programs in international shipping and logistics, logistics engineering and management, and four undergraduate majors in transportation, shipping management, logistics management and transportation engineering, with 300 full-time graduate students and 2,400 undergraduates. Among them, the discipline of transportation planning and management was approved by the Ministry of Education and Shanghai in 2007 and 2008 respectively as a national key discipline (cultivation) and a key discipline in Shanghai. Logistics management and shipping management are national majors, and transportation, shipping management and logistics management are listed as the highland of undergraduate education in Shanghai.
