Brief introduction of Beihua University School of Medicine;

Beihua University School of Medicine, located in Jilin City, Jilin Province, is an affiliated teaching unit of Beihua University, a key comprehensive university in Jilin Province. Its predecessor was Jilin Province Midwifery School, which was established in 1948. 1958 was renamed Jilin medical college with the approval of the provincial government, 1959 was adjusted to Jilin medical college, and 1973 was approved by the Ministry of Education to resume undergraduate education.

1999 With the approval of the Ministry of Education, the former Jilin Normal University, Jilin Medical College, Jilin Forestry College and Jilin Institute of Electrification merged to form Beihua University. 2065438+May 2008, the school integrated the former Basic Medical College, School of Public Health, First Clinical Medical College (affiliated hospital), Stomatology Medical College and Life Science Research Center, and established a new Beihua University Medical College.

1958 was approved by the provincial government as an undergraduate course and renamed as Jilin Medical College. 1959 was reorganized into Jilin Medical College. 65438-0973 With the approval of the Ministry of Education, undergraduate education was resumed, and it was named Jilin Medical College to recruit clinical medicine majors. 1982, the undergraduate course of higher medical laboratory was established; Approved by the Ministry of Education, 65438-0984 began to recruit graduate students majoring in medical laboratory. 1985 opened a three-year nursing major; 1995, newly added for nursing undergraduate.
