Official website of Shandong University shows that Shandong University has eight campuses. There are six campuses in Jinan: Central Campus, Hongjialou Campus, Baotuquan Campus, Qianfoshan Campus, Software Park Campus and Xinglong Mountain Campus, Qingdao Campus and Weihai Campus.

Shandong University, located in Jinan City, Shandong Province, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It is directly managed by the central government and established at the deputy ministerial level.
