Article 2 The name of the school is Northwest University for Nationalities, and the school code is 10742. The superior competent department is the State Ethnic Affairs Commission of the People's Republic of China. It is a public full-time multidisciplinary comprehensive university, focusing on undergraduate and postgraduate education, with its existing headquarters and Yuzhong campus.

Chapter II General Situation of Schools

Article 3 The school was established in August 1950, and began to recruit graduate students in June 195 1. It is one of the first authorized units of master's degree in China, and now has the right to award bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctoral degree.

Chapter IV Enrollment Objects and Admission Principles

Tenth schools recruit candidates from all ethnic groups for the whole country, in which the proportion of ethnic minorities enrolled in undergraduate freshmen in all provinces shall not be less than 65%, and ethnic autonomous regions and multi-ethnic provinces shall be higher than this proportion; Preparatory courses only recruit minority candidates.

Fifteenth art and sports majors will be selected according to the candidates' technical achievements from high to low after their cultural achievements (including mathematics achievements) reach the minimum control score. Candidates who apply for art majors in our school must have the results of art majors in our school; Dance undergraduate only recruits graduates from dance technical secondary schools; Art design (art direction of Tibetan Thangka) major only recruits candidates who take the Min-Han exam, and their English scores in the college entrance examination have reached and their Chinese foundation is good.

Article 16 When enrolling students, the enrollment management departments of colleges and universities in all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) shall, in accordance with relevant regulations, control the placement ratio of electronic files of candidates within 1.20% of the enrollment plan, and recruit candidates who enter the filing line according to 1.00% of the professional plan.

Seventeenth schools give priority to the first volunteer candidates. When the students of the first volunteer candidate are insufficient, non-first volunteer candidates will be admitted and subject to adjustment, and those who do not obey professional adjustment will be dismissed.

Article 18 The major of national languages and scripts only recruits candidates who use national languages and scripts (Tibetan, Mongolian and Uygur).

Nineteenth high-level athletes are admitted in accordance with the documents of the Ministry of Education and the relevant provisions of the provincial education administrative departments.

Twentieth college entrance examination requirements:

① In principle, the Chinese scores in the college entrance examination for Chinese language and writing (Uygur-Chinese translation) majors have reached the passing mark;

② In principle, the English scores of English majors should not be less than 90 points;

(3) Majors in business administration, public enterprise management, international economy and trade, accounting, finance, economics, tourism management and applied psychology are both liberal arts and sciences, and their math scores are not less than 90 points in principle;

Chapter V Admission and Examination of Freshmen

Twenty-fourth freshmen who fail to pass the physical examination or whose majors are limited shall be disqualified or their majors adjusted.

Chapter VI Charging Standards and Others

Twenty-fifth tuition fees in our school are charged according to the charging standard approved by Gansu Provincial Price Bureau, and the annual payment method is implemented.

Literature and history major, preparatory course (literature) 3800 yuan/student/academic year; Science and engineering major, preparatory course (science) 4000 yuan/student/academic year; Art majors are 6000 yuan/student/academic year. Ethnic liberal arts majors (that is, China minority languages and literature, Chinese language and writing (Uighur-Chinese translation)) 2500 yuan/student/academic year; Ethnic science major (that is, mathematics and applied mathematics (Tibetan-Chinese bilingual)) 3000 yuan/student/school year.

If Gansu Provincial Price Bureau changes the charging standard, the above charges will be implemented according to the new standard.
