Chapter I General Principles
Article 1 The Articles of Association are formulated in order to conscientiously implement the principle requirements of the Ministry of Education and the State Ethnic Affairs Commission on "running the school according to law", ensure openness, fairness and impartiality in enrollment, further standardize enrollment behavior, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of school candidates and ensure the smooth enrollment of undergraduate and preparatory courses in our school in 2007.
Article 2 The name of the school is Northwest University for Nationalities, and the school code is 10742. The superior competent department is the State Ethnic Affairs Commission of the People's Republic of China. It is a public full-time multidisciplinary comprehensive university, focusing on undergraduate and postgraduate education, with its existing headquarters and Yuzhong campus.
Chapter II General Situation of Schools
Article 3 The school was established in August 1950, and began to recruit graduate students in June 195 1. It is one of the first authorized units of master's degree in China, and now has the right to award bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctoral degree.
Article 4 The school covers an area of 65,438 0,800 mu and has more than 65,438 0,280 faculty members, including 343 professors and associate professors, and 309 with master's degree or above.
Article 5 The school has 47 undergraduate majors, covering economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management and other disciplines, and has 58 laboratories. It is a comprehensive university with distinct advantages and characteristics.
Article 6 The school has 1 doctoral degree authorized majors: China minority languages and literature; 365,438+0: China minority languages and literature, musicology, fine arts, China minority art, folklore, religion, anthropology, China minority economy, Marxist national theory and policy, basic principles of Marxism, computer application technology, curriculum and teaching theory, applied mathematics, language and applied linguistics, historical philology, etc.
Chapter III Organizations and Their Duties
Article 7 A school shall set up an "Admissions Committee of Northwest University for Nationalities" composed of the main leaders of the school and the heads of relevant departments, which shall be responsible for implementing the relevant national enrollment policies and comprehensively leading the enrollment work of the school.
Article 8 The Admissions Office of Northwest University for Nationalities is the permanent institution of the school, which is responsible for the specific implementation and execution of undergraduate (including art and sports) and preparatory enrollment, and the enrollment work is supervised by the discipline inspection and supervision departments and the society.
Article 9 The Admissions Office is responsible for reporting and implementing this year's enrollment plan; Responsible for the planning and implementation of enrollment publicity work; Responsible for the organization and implementation of enrollment work; Responsible for the qualification examination of freshmen after entering the school; Responsible for a comprehensive summary of this year's enrollment work and seriously carry out enrollment research.
Chapter IV Enrollment Objects and Admission Principles
Tenth schools recruit candidates from all ethnic groups for the whole country, in which the proportion of ethnic minorities enrolled in undergraduate freshmen in all provinces shall not be less than 65%, and ethnic autonomous regions and multi-ethnic provinces shall be higher than this proportion; Preparatory courses only recruit minority candidates.
Eleventh Northwest University for Nationalities enrollment plan through the provincial admissions department, school enrollment brochures, school websites and other forms to the candidates.
Twelfth the implementation of the relevant policies of the state and the relevant provisions of the country of origin (provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government), including the care policies such as adding points or reducing points. Adhere to the comprehensive evaluation of morality, intelligence and physical fitness, take the college entrance examination results as the main basis for admission, and comprehensively measure the comprehensive quality of candidates. After the relevant subjects (such as foreign languages and mathematics) reach the minimum control score, they will be admitted on the basis of fairness, justice and merit.
Article 13 Candidates who get extra points or lower points, like other candidates, shall be admitted according to their cultural achievements after the extra points or lower points, in the order in which candidates fill in their volunteers.
Fourteenth candidates who apply for foreign language major in Northwest University for Nationalities shall take the oral English test. Oral English test methods, oral test scores and listening scores shall be subject to the specific provisions of the enrollment management departments of colleges and universities in all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government), and schools shall refer to local regulations when enrolling students.
Fifteenth art and sports majors will be selected according to the candidates' technical achievements from high to low after their cultural achievements (including mathematics achievements) reach the minimum control score. Candidates who apply for art majors in our school must have the results of art majors in our school; Dance undergraduate only recruits graduates from dance technical secondary schools; Art design (art direction of Tibetan Thangka) major only recruits candidates who take the Min-Han exam, and their English scores in the college entrance examination have reached and their Chinese foundation is good.
Article 16 When enrolling students, the enrollment management departments of colleges and universities in all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) shall, in accordance with relevant regulations, control the placement ratio of electronic files of candidates within 1.20% of the enrollment plan, and recruit candidates who enter the filing line according to 1.00% of the professional plan.
Seventeenth schools give priority to the first volunteer candidates. When the students of the first volunteer candidate are insufficient, non-first volunteer candidates will be admitted and subject to adjustment, and those who do not obey professional adjustment will be dismissed.
Article 18 The major of national languages and scripts only recruits candidates who use national languages and scripts (Tibetan, Mongolian and Uygur).
Nineteenth high-level athletes are admitted in accordance with the documents of the Ministry of Education and the relevant provisions of the provincial education administrative departments.
Twentieth college entrance examination requirements:
① In principle, the Chinese scores in the college entrance examination for Chinese language and writing (Uygur-Chinese translation) majors have reached the passing mark;
② In principle, the English scores of English majors should not be less than 90 points;
(3) Majors in business administration, public enterprise management, international economy and trade, accounting, finance, economics, tourism management and applied psychology are both liberal arts and sciences, and their math scores are not less than 90 points in principle;
④ In principle, the mathematics scores of computer science and technology, mathematics and applied mathematics, communication engineering, information and computing science, electrical engineering and its automation, electronic information engineering and civil engineering shall not be less than 90 points, and the mathematics scores of mathematics and applied mathematics (Tibetan-Chinese bilingual) shall reach the qualified score line;
Twenty-first minority preparatory students, according to the wishes of candidates and according to the provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government), from high score to low score, merit-based admission.
Twenty-second Northwest University for Nationalities' requirements for candidates' physical examination shall be implemented in accordance with the "Guiding Opinions on Physical Examination Standards for Enrollment of Ordinary Colleges and Universities" jointly issued by the Ministry of Education and relevant departments.
Chapter V Admission and Examination of Freshmen
Article 23 According to the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education, the school will conduct a comprehensive review of new students, including qualification review and physical health review. Candidates who practise fraud in all aspects of enrollment will be disqualified or expelled once they are found out.
Twenty-fourth freshmen who fail to pass the physical examination or whose majors are limited shall be disqualified or their majors adjusted.
Chapter VI Charging Standards and Others
Twenty-fifth tuition fees in our school are charged according to the charging standard approved by Gansu Provincial Price Bureau, and the annual payment method is implemented.
Literature and history major, preparatory course (literature) 3800 yuan/student/academic year; Science and engineering major, preparatory course (science) 4000 yuan/student/academic year; Art majors are 6000 yuan/student/academic year. Ethnic liberal arts majors (that is, China minority languages and literature, Chinese language and writing (Uighur-Chinese translation)) 2500 yuan/student/academic year; Ethnic science major (that is, mathematics and applied mathematics (Tibetan-Chinese bilingual)) 3000 yuan/student/school year.
If Gansu Provincial Price Bureau changes the charging standard, the above charges will be implemented according to the new standard.

Article 29 If there is any conflict between the previous provisions of the school on enrollment and these Articles of Association, these Articles of Association shall prevail; If the Articles of Association is inconsistent with the relevant national policies, the relevant national and superior policies shall prevail.
