Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (English: Zhongnan University of Economics and Law) is an ordinary institution of higher learning directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), focusing on economics, law and management, as well as literature, history, philosophy, science and engineering. It was formed by the merger of Zhongnan University of Finance and Economics, which was originally affiliated to the Ministry of Finance, and Zhongnan College of Politics and Law, which was originally affiliated to the Ministry of Justice. It is one of the four financial colleges directly under the Ministry of Education, and one of the national "2 1 1 Project" and one of the key universities for the innovation platform project of advantageous disciplines. The school has two campuses, Shouyi Campus is located under the historic Yellow Crane Tower, and Nanhu Campus is located beside Nanhu Lake. The school covers an area of 29 1 1 mu, with a building area of 165438+ 10,000 square meters. Hu Xiaonan, located in Nanhu Campus, is the largest campus lake in China. Over the past 60 years, the school has trained about 300,000 students at all levels and made great contributions to the construction and reform of China.
