The direction of grass industry has formed the academic development direction with characteristics and advantages, such as cultivation and breeding of tropical forage crops and genetic breeding of tropical turfgrass.

The direction of seed industry depends on South Breeding, Wenchang Space Breeding, the construction of national seed transfer station, combined with tropical germplasm resources, starting from seed biology, and the construction of seed resource bank. , cultivate excellent new tropical varieties and the development direction of popularization and application.
