What can college students do as soldiers?
The Notice on Selecting Grass-roots Cadres from Elite Soldiers who Graduated from Colleges and Universities clearly points out that the army can directly promote cadres from elite soldiers who graduated from colleges and universities and joined the army. In other words, the main target of soldiers' promotion is college soldiers. So, what conditions do college student soldiers have to meet before they can be promoted?

First, education.

College students must be undergraduate graduates with full-time undergraduate degrees. The full-time undergraduate education here includes one, two and three, while junior college students do not meet the conditions for soldiers to promote cadres.

Second, age.

The promotion age of college student soldiers shall not exceed 26 years old. Those who have won second class merit or outstanding performance during their service can be relaxed to 27 years old. In addition, if you are a minority college student soldier, the age can also be relaxed to 27.

Third, the service time.

The promotion of college student soldiers must meet the service life of more than one and a half years. Those who have obtained a full-time undergraduate degree during their service shall meet the service life of more than two years.

Fourth, the political outlook.

The promotion of college student soldiers should have a firm political stance, obey the leadership of China's * * * production party, and be party member or prepare for party member. In other words, if you are a league member or a mass, no matter how excellent you are in other aspects, you are not qualified for promotion.

Fifth, service performance.

During his service, he was awarded the title of good soldier, and the college soldiers with excellent military quality met the promotion requirements. In addition, three college student soldiers must have third-class merit or have served as squad leader or vice squad leader, and can be promoted to officers after passing the examination.

In addition to the above five conditions, college soldiers who meet the following conditions can be given priority under the same conditions: first, college soldiers who graduated from the national "2 1 1 project" universities; Second, college student soldiers who have won second-class merit or first-class merit or have been rated as model figures; Third, college students serving in hard areas; Fourth, college students whose parents are martyrs; Fifth, technical college soldiers who meet the urgent needs of army building.

Of course, soldiers are not only promoted to college students, but other ordinary soldiers who have made great contributions can also be promoted to officers after passing the army assessment. The major meritorious service mentioned here is merit citation class II, merit citation class I or being rated as a model figure.

Last but not least, the number of soldiers to be promoted is limited and very few. In recent years, there are more and more college soldiers, and everyone is here for promotion, so the competition is becoming more and more fierce. Only the best college soldiers can be promoted. If you are a college student soldier, if you come to the army to promote cadres, you should take every step from the day you step into the army gate, because it is very likely that you will miss the promotion just because of a small mistake.
