According to the relevant national policies, free medical students, special programs in poverty-stricken areas and local rural special programs can be appropriately reduced (the maximum reduction is no more than 20 points).

Hunan University of Chinese Medicine is located in Changsha, the capital of Hunan Province, a famous historical and cultural city in China. Founded in 1934, formerly known as Hunan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. 1960 was transformed into Hunan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 2002, Hunan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine merged with Hunan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 2006, it was renamed Hunan University of Chinese Medicine with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
