Students all over the country are currently counting the pennies before their student loans arrive, or the rolling financial resources provided by their new full-time jobs. As I write this article, many students are packing up their lives and preparing to move out to college. However, for many others, they are looking for or have full-time jobs. All this makes me think, why should students receive higher education?

1: improve career prospects

Getting a degree can significantly increase and improve the career prospects of your son or daughter. Once they get a degree, they not only have a wider range of career choices, but also may make faster progress on the career ladder. Although it is misleading to claim that a degree can guarantee employment, more and more organizations require people to hold a degree before applying.

By the time we graduate, our courses may inspire us to discover new greatness. This is the ultimate reason for going to college: it takes three years to meet new people, enjoy life and find out who we are, which may prompt us to figure out what we want to do in life.
