The First Affiliated Middle School of Huazhong Normal University is the first batch of demonstration high schools in Hubei Province, located in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province. 1962 was identified as the first batch of key middle schools in Hubei province, the only "window school" named by the people's government of Hubei province, the best civilized unit in Hubei province, and a member of the joint entrance examination of eight schools in Hubei province.
The First Affiliated Middle School of Huazhong Normal University was founded in September 1950, formerly known as Central South Experimental Workers and Peasants Accelerated Middle School. 1958, renamed as the first affiliated middle school of Huazhong Normal University; 1985, renamed as the first affiliated middle school of Huazhong Normal University.
