Marriage certificate plus credit policy
Legal analysis: Usually not. Although the marriage certificate should add 3 credits logically, both the marriage certificate and the divorce certificate belong to the national certificate. Students who have obtained the national certificate according to the school's bonus policy should get 3 credits as a demotion and can accumulate in the academic appraisal form to get scholarships and other rewards. There is no policy for college students to get a marriage certificate and add credits. However, most colleges and universities do not support the policy of extra points for college students' marriage, because although the marriage certificate belongs to the national certificate recognized by the state, it has nothing to do with academic work and the technical certificate required by the extra points policy. Therefore, most colleges and universities in China have no rules for college students to get married and add credits.

Legal basis: Civil Code of People's Republic of China (PRC).
