1. The leading group for major changes in the school is composed of school leaders in charge of teaching, the academic affairs office and the heads of relevant functional departments of the school, and is responsible for formulating the management measures for major changes in the school and determining the work schedule for major changes. The leading group has an office, which is located in the Academic Affairs Office.
2. Students have interests and specialties in other majors during their study, and their physical conditions meet the physical examination standards for changing majors. They have two opportunities to change majors: in the spring semester of the first school year, students can apply for the whole school; In the fall semester of the third academic year, students can apply in the college.
3, students meet one of the following conditions, you can apply for a separate major:
(1) After entering the school, if a certain disease or physical defect (except those who conceal their past medical history) is found, those who are proved by the school hospital or the second-class hospitals designated by the school to be unsuitable for studying in the original major, but can still study in other majors, can apply for changing majors, but their college entrance examination scores shall not be lower than the minimum admission score for applying for changing majors.
(2) Students who have no major after dropping out of school can apply for a similar major.
(3) Students who join the army and return to school after discharge apply for major changes, and the school gives priority. Retired students who have joined the army and have not been disciplined during their service are not restricted by majors and admission plans in principle.
4 schools need to adjust their majors according to the development and changes of social demand for talents, allowing students to transfer to other related majors.
20 1 1 1 2003, as a key technical research unit, the project "Development and application of automatic wire laying equipment for aviation composite components" jointly declared by our school, Xi Jiaotong University and Harbin Institute of Technology was included in the national major scientific and technological project "High-grade CNC machine tools and basic manufacturing equipment".
In 2009, the project of "Cultivation of New Varieties of Aphid-resistant Transgenic Wheat" hosted by Professor Wei was supported by the National Special Science and Technology Program for Cultivation of New Varieties of Genetically Modified Organisms, and the research and development of the atypical antipsychotic drug iloperidone (20 1 1) hosted by Professor Shang Zhenhua was supported by this project as a major science and technology sub-project for new drug creation.
Professor Wei presided over the project "Screening and Transformation of New Salt-tolerant Genes in Rice and Breeding of New Transgenic Varieties", which won major special scientific and technological support for breeding new varieties of genetically modified organisms.
