Examination rules
A tour guide refers to a person who has obtained a tour guide card in accordance with the Regulations on the Administration of Tour Guides and accepted the appointment of a travel agency to provide guidance, explanation and related travel services for tourists.
1. Tour guide qualification: Take the tour guide qualification examination as required and obtain the tour guide certificate.
2. The premise of engaging in tour guide activities: being appointed by a travel agency.
3. Business activities of tour guides: providing guides, explanations and related tourism services for tourists.
The Regulations on the Administration of Tour Guides stipulates that anyone who wishes to engage in tour guide business must take the qualification examination for tour guides as required. Those who pass the examination shall be entrusted by the tourism administrative department of the State Council to issue qualification certificates to the tourism administrative departments of the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government.
