The school fully draws on and introduces the advanced experience of first-class technical universities in developed countries such as Germany and Switzerland, and is committed to cultivating high-quality applied talents such as engineers and designers with international vision, craftsmanship and innovation and entrepreneurship at the undergraduate level and above, and strives to build a first-class Universities of Applied Sciences.
The school has established Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing College, Big Data and Internet College, New Materials and New Energy College, Urban Transportation and Logistics College, Health and Environmental Engineering College, Creative Design College, Engineering Physics College, Quality and Standards College, International Exchange College, Business School, Pharmacy College, Foreign Languages College, Marxism College (Humanities and Social Sciences College) and Sports College. It has set up specialties such as mechanical design, manufacturing and automation, Internet of Things engineering, light source and lighting, transportation, automobile service engineering and industrial design, which is highly compatible with economic development and industrial demand. By 2022, the school plans to offer 39 majors, covering five disciplines, including engineering, science, management, art and economics.
