Medical College is one of the 25 secondary colleges affiliated to public Nantong University, and its office, teaching and living places are mainly in Qixiu Campus of Nantong University. Nantong University School of Medicine originated from the private medical department of Nantong University. 19 1 1 year, Zhang Yan founded Tongzhou Hospital (now the affiliated hospital of Datong University). 19 12 in March, Zhang Jian and Zhang Peng founded the medical college affiliated to Tongzhou Hospital. In April, Tongzhou abandoned Zhouzhou County, Tongzhou Hospital was renamed Nantong Hospital, and the school was renamed Nantong Hospital Affiliated Medical College. That summer, the school was renamed Nantong Medical College, with Zhang Jian and Zhang Huan as principals.
