Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, founded in 1956, is one of the earliest universities of traditional Chinese medicine established in China after the founding of New China. The school is located in Zhangjiang Comprehensive National Science Center in Pudong New Area, located in the core area of Zhangjiang Science City, covering an area of more than 500 mu. In the fourth round of national discipline evaluation results, Chinese medicine, integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine and Chinese medicine ranked first in the country, all of which achieved excellent results of A+, making them the only three A+ universities in the country.
