Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, referred to as "Beijing Medical University" for short, is a national key university with Chinese medicine discipline directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It was jointly built by the Ministry of Education, the National Health and Wellness Commission, state administration of traditional chinese medicine and Beijing. It is the first batch of world-class discipline construction universities in China.

3. Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (minimum admission score is 583 points)

Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government. It is a high-level university in Shanghai, the first batch of world-class discipline construction universities in China, the founding member of the World-class University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Construction Alliance and the Yangtze River Delta Medical Education Alliance, the pilot unit for the construction of high-level local universities in Shanghai, and the first batch of WHO traditional medicine cooperation centers.

4. Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine (minimum admission score is 580 points)

Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, founded in 1954, is one of the earliest institutions of higher learning of traditional Chinese medicine in China, a national "world-class discipline construction university" jointly established by the Ministry of Education and Jiangsu Province, a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education, Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and state administration of traditional chinese medicine, a key university and a high-level university in Jiangsu Province.

5. Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (minimum admission score is 534 points)

Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CDUTCM), located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education, state administration of traditional chinese medicine and Sichuan Provincial People's Government, and is one of the first world-class universities in China. Selected into the national postgraduate training plan for building a high-level university and the excellent doctor (Chinese medicine) education training plan.
