Major and category of enrollment
The graduate students enrolled by Guizhou University in 2023 are divided into academic degrees and professional degrees. For details of the enrollment specialty categories (fields), please refer to the Appendix "Guizhou University 2023 Postgraduate Enrollment Catalogue". The academic system of graduate students is 3 years, and the learning method is "full-time"; The academic system of professional degree graduate students is 2.5 to 3 years, and the learning methods are "full-time" and "part-time". Full-time and part-time postgraduate examination enrollment follows the unified requirements of the state and implements the same policies and standards. In principle, part-time graduate students in our school recruit on-the-job directional employment personnel.
Enrollment plan
Guizhou University plans to recruit more than 4,800 graduate students in 2023, including open recruitment plan, exemption plan, high-level minority talents plan, and special plan for retired college students and soldiers. All majors in our school do not accept separate examinations. In the admission stage, the enrollment of colleges (centers, laboratories) and majors (fields) will be adjusted according to the enrollment plan officially issued by the Ministry of Education and the actual enrollment situation.

The number of students to be enrolled in each major published in the 2023 Graduate Admissions Catalogue of Guizhou University includes the number of exemption plans and open recruitment plans, while the number of open recruitment plans for each major does not include the number of exemption plans.
(2) Exemption Scheme
The number of planned tuition-free students announced in the 2023 graduate enrollment catalogue of Guizhou University is the maximum number of tuition-free students for each major, not the actual enrollment. The actual number of students enrolled in each major is subject to the list of students to be enrolled published in that year (expected to be published at the end of 2022 10), and the number of unfinished enrollment plans of colleges (centers and laboratories) is transferred to the open recruitment plan.
(3) Special Plan for Retired College Students Soldiers
1.In 2023, our school plans to recruit 15 graduate students from the special program of "Retired College Soldiers".
2. Candidates who apply for the special program of "Retired College Soldiers" should be college students who have been enlisted and retired from active service, and those who meet the requirements of applying for master's degree ("college students" refer to full-time graduates (including vocational colleges), graduate students, students and freshmen with second bachelor's degrees, and graduates (previous graduates), students and freshmen recruited by adult colleges (vocational colleges).

(5) Examination of candidates' qualifications for entering the examination
Please carefully read the application conditions of all majors in our school before registration. If the application information filled in by the candidates does not meet the application conditions (including the remarks in the enrollment professional catalogue) in the Articles of Association for Master's Admissions of Guizhou University in 2023, our school will not allow the initial examination or re-examination.

(3) The admission categories of candidates are divided into "non-directional employment" and "directional employment". Candidates' admission categories will not be changed after being reported to the Ministry of Education. Violation handling
(1) Candidates who violate the examination management regulations and examination room discipline in the postgraduate examination enrollment and affect the fairness and justice of the examination shall be severely dealt with according to the Education Law of the People's Republic of China and the Measures for Handling Violations in National Education Examination (Order No.33 of the Ministry of Education). (2) Scholarships: Postgraduates (excluding students with directional employment) who are included in the national postgraduate enrollment plan and within the normal academic system and whose personnel files are transferred to our school on time can participate in the evaluation of internal awards such as national scholarships and academic scholarships, and the evaluation shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations of the state and our school.
