How powerful is Duan Shao, the founding hero of the Northern Qi Dynasty? Brief introduction of Duan Shao's life
Duan Shao is good at riding and shooting. He was called a general at an early age, and was later reused by Gao Huan as a confidant. Duan Shao really didn't let Gao Huan down on the battlefield. Destroy Zhao Zhu, resist Yu Wentai, conquer the Jade Wall, and make great achievements. As the founding hero of Beiqi, Duan Shao made great contributions to Beiqi, and he also had his own understanding of participating in politics. However, there are not many founding heroes who can really get a good ending in history, and Duan Shao finally had to rely on "self-pollution" to save his life. This time, I will briefly talk about Duan Shao's life for everyone. Let's have a look.

(A) the edge of germination

Duan Shao showed his statesmanship for the first time in the war between Gao Huan and Afghanistan. At that time, Gao Huan, fledgling, set up another portal in the absence of the old master Er, and made July, the king of stability, emperor in the west of Xindu City (now Xingtai City, Hebei Province), openly challenging Wei Jiemin, who was established in Luoyang with Er. Second, he became angry from embarrassment and led 200,000 troops to pounce on Xindu. Gao Huan led thirty thousand cavalry to meet, and the two armies confronted each other in Guang 'an (now Longyao County, Xingtai City, Hebei Province).

Due to the disparity in military strength, Gao Huan was tough on the surface, but worried at heart, so he humbly asked Duan Shao for advice. Duan Shao's far-sighted analysis: "Er Zhao Zhu killed the Lord and established the monarch, harming the world outside, losing virtue inside, losing his way and being helpless;" Although our army is weak, it will surely defeat the enemy! " Gao Huan, confident, led thirty thousand troops to defeat two hundred thousand troops of Erzhuzhao, and fled in haste. Prisoners alone captured more than 5000 people.

In several battles to pursue the remnants of the Second Battalion, General Duan Shao took the lead in "leading the way with troops", dealt a heavy blow to the enemy, forced the Second Battalion to bring about its own destruction, and quickly wiped out the Second Battalion. Gao Huan changed Liyuan to emperor in Yecheng (now Linzhang County, Hebei Province), occupied Jinyang (now southwest of Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province), turned Jinyang into the second capital, and remotely controlled the real power of the Eastern Wei Dynasty. Duan Shao took Gao Huandong to kill the western block non-stop, and was named Marquis for his outstanding exploits.

Duan Shao's martial arts skills are high, and he once staged a good show of riding a savior alone. When he went to the front with Gao Huan to resist the invasion of the Western Wei Dynasty, he suggested that Gao Huan put on military clothes and mix in the team to command the battle. Gao Huan, the general of the Western Wei Dynasty, recognized at a glance that "his eyes are bare, his cheekbones are high, his teeth are as white as jade, and there are few heroes", and he personally led the special forces into the ranks of the Eastern Wei Dynasty, intending to catch thieves first.

Duan Shao caught the enemy's plot in time and urged Gao Huan to retreat. At the same time, urge the horse to bow back to the arrow and shoot down the enemy chasing in front. The superb archery frightened the others, and the pursuers looked at each other. "The former dare not." After Gao Huan won, he rewarded Duan Shao and said, "This is a public service to be promoted."

(2) Trust an orphan to be an official

Duan Shao, with his outstanding military talent and personality charm of "being good at conquering the masses", became the best choice for Gao Huan to entrust orphans. In 546 AD 10, Gao Huan led 100,000 troops to besiege Yubi (now Jishan County, Shanxi Province), an important town in the Western Wei Dynasty, in order to open the way to the west. Due to the tight defense of the Western Wei Dynasty and the sudden outbreak of the plague, Gao Huan's army suffered heavy casualties, killing more than 70,000 people.

Gao Huan was anxious to call his generals to discuss: "I used to hear many good ideas from Duan Shaokou every time I fought. This time, if he were an army staff officer, this would not be the case! Now the military situation is urgent, and I am seriously ill. Just in case, I want to entrust Duan Shao to stay in Yucheng to assist my second son Gao Yang. Do you think it's appropriate? " The generals replied in unison: "I know there is no more suitable candidate than Duan Shao!"

Gao Huan called Duan Shao and Gao Cheng (the eldest son of Gao Huan) to the front line of Yubi urgently and asked Duan Shao to spare no effort to assist Gao Yang. On his deathbed, Gao Huan once again said to Gao Cheng, "Duan Shao is kind and has both wisdom and courage. Among relatives, only he is trustworthy. You must ask him for advice on all military matters in the future! "

General Hou Jing heard that Gao Huan was terminally ill and immediately went to the Western Wei Dynasty. Gao Huan returned to Jinyang and died. Duan Shao suggested that Gao Cheng "keep it a secret and not mourn" to stabilize the morale of the army. He asked Gao Cheng to return to Yecheng to send troops to counter the rebellion and stay in Jinyang. Gao Cheng accepted the suggestion, beat Hou Jing to Nanliang, successfully stabilized the political situation, and returned to Jinyang to attend Gao Huan's funeral.

Duan Shao guarded Jinyang for half a year, waiting for death, tightly blocked the news of Gao Huan's death, relieved the worries of Gao Cheng's rebellion, and created favorable conditions for Gao Yang to accept Zen. After Gao Cheng's assassination, Gao Yang changed dynasties and established Beiqi.

(3) Resolving the offensive

At the beginning of the establishment of the new regime, it faced the grim situation of Nanliang and Northern Zhou Dynasties. General Dongfang Bai 'e of Nanliang gave an imperial edict in Suyu (now Suqian City, Jiangsu Province) to "lure border people, kill officials and disturb Huai Si" and arrived in Suyu. Unexpectedly, Nanliang attacked the Northern Qi Dynasty with multi-point flowering tactics: Yan Chaoda's army besieged Jingzhou (now Pingliang City, Gansu Province) from waterways, while his army attacked Guangling (now Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province), and Yin Siling's army planned to attack Xuyi (now Xuyi County, Huai 'an City, Jiangsu Province).

In the face of the sinister situation of three arrows, the Northern Qi "three armies are afraid of salt" and the army has no fighting spirit. Duan Shao just laughed, but left an army in Su Yu as a suspected soldier to contain the enemy, and personally led thousands of cavalry to reinforce Jingzhou day and night at the speed of forced March.

When the troops passed through Xuyi, they bluffed and attacked the enemy, scaring Yin Siling to escape. After a long-distance attack on Jingzhou, Duan Shao defeated Liang Jun, seized all the ships and equipment of the enemy, and even defeated two powerful enemies.

Duan went out of Guangling and had already escaped. Duan Shao chased all the way out of Yangzhou before returning to Su Yu with the spoils. After several battles, Duan Shao completely wiped out the White Army on the Eastern Front, making Nanliang afraid to attack Jiangbei again. Since then, the Jianghuai area has been peaceful and the people have lived and worked in peace and contentment.

After the pacification of Jianghuai, Duan Shao and Jiuzi (Gao Huan) continued to fight in Jinyang to resist the Northern Zhou allied forces. As soon as the troops entered Jinyang City, the northern Zhou infantry striker braved the heavy snow and rushed to a place only two miles away from the city. People demand that they can launch a counterattack when their foothold is unstable.

Wu Chengdi asked Duan Shao for advice, but Duan Shao didn't agree. He thinks that the sooner the better, the better, and he will surely defeat the enemy.

When the enemy was devastated by the snow outside the city, he suddenly ordered the Kaesong attack to destroy the enemy outside the city. The follow-up troops of the Northern Zhou Dynasty saw that the striker was completely annihilated, and their morale was in chaos, and they fled overnight. Duan Shao led the cavalry to fight Reservoir Dogs until they reached the Great Wall and returned home in triumph. Wu Chengdi regarded him as a god of war and asked him to guard the Great Wall.

(4) Resistance to the Northern Zhou Dynasty

One day, Duan Shao suddenly received a letter from Wu Chengdi's special envoy. It turned out that Yuwen Hu, the powerful minister of the Northern Zhou Dynasty, was unwilling to fail. He wrote a personal letter, demanding the return of Yan, his biological mother stranded in Beiqi, and expressed his willingness to eliminate hostility and improve relations between the two countries. Wu Chengdi couldn't make up his mind, so he sent an emissary to ask Duan Shao with this letter.

Duan Shao advised, "It is normal for Yuwen Hu to demand the return of his mother. But Yuwen Hu was too arrogant to send a talking messenger to intercede. He just wants us to release people on this piece of paper, which obviously shows his contempt for me. I suggest that I promise him verbally first and then consider reuniting his mother and son later. "

Did not adopt, directly sent messengers to send Yan to the Northern Zhou Dynasty with grand etiquette.

Seeing that the Northern Qi was so weak, Yu Wenhu was really treacherous and sent troops to attack Luoyang. The Northern Qi army marched into Mangshan (now north of Luoyang, Henan Province) and confronted the Northern Zhou army. Duan Shao was urgently recalled from the frontier fortress and led the troops to reinforce Luoyang. He led 1000 elite cavalry around the clock, and crossed the Yellow River five days later to meet the big troops. After "talking about the situation of Zhou Jun", Duan Shao quickly worked out a plan to lure the enemy in depth.

Duan Shao led a thousand cavalry to engage with the enemy. After the engagement, they gradually retreated and gradually led the main force of the enemy to Mangshan. Duan Shao's cavalry retreated to the top of the mountain, and the enemy got carried away and quickly narrowed the encirclement. As a result of climbing the mountain and attacking from behind, the enemy troops were all exhausted and sweaty.

Duan Shao saw that the fighter plane had arrived and ordered all cavalry to dismount and gallop down from the top of the mountain. The cavalry rested, the enemy was tired, and they fought hand to hand. As soon as they met the enemy, they fell down and ran down the hill.

Duan Shao also ordered the cavalry to mount the horse and pursue it. The enemy "disintegrated for a while and fell into the valley, causing many casualties." Duan Shao created a miracle with a thousand cavalry, solved the siege of Luoyang and seized countless military assets. Emperor Wu Chengdi was overjoyed and personally went to Luoyang to "pay tribute to the soldiers" and rewarded Duan Shao.

Unwilling to fail, the Northern Zhou Dynasty invaded Northern Qi again. Duan Shao led the troops to resist and reached the strategic location of Baigu City.

White ancient city is a stone city, which is easy to defend but difficult to attack. Northern Zhou striker occupied this place, commanding, blocking Duan Shao. When people saw the towering Shicheng, the defenders raised flags and looked at each other. No one dared to take the initiative to fight. Duan Shao encouraged all the generals, and the whole army sent ten thousand arrows and burned the city head. The soldiers bravely climbed the mountain and captured Cooper City in one fell swoop.

Duan Shao pursued Yao Xiangcheng, a strategic place (now the west of Jixian County, Shanxi Province). In order to strengthen the defense, the enemy rebuilt the new city in the south of the city, dug deep ditches and cut off the main roads. Duan Shao adopted a divide-and-conquer tactic, sending strong men to attack suddenly from the north of the old city, and at the same time sending elite troops to secretly cross the Yellow River and enter Yaoxiang City as an inside man. When the two armies fought, the enemy was defeated, and Duan Shao successfully captured the old city.

He left a part to build the city and surrounded Ding Yang (now Yichuan County, Shaanxi Province) by soldiers. Ding Yang's commander-in-chief closed the city and stuck to it. After observing the enemy situation in the city, Duan Shao ordered a storm and quickly seized the outer city.

At the critical moment of going all out to capture the inner city, Duan Shao was ill in bed because of overwork. Before returning to Beijing for medical treatment, he clung to the front line and said to his subordinates, "Dingyangcheng is surrounded by deep streams on three sides, and there is no retreat, only the southeast is connected with the outside world. If the enemy forces break through, they can only go southeast. Choose a good soldier to guard the exit, and naturally you can catch turtles in a jar. "

Under the fierce attack of the Northern Qi army, the enemy soldiers abandoned the city and fled from the southeast Jiankou, where they were ambushed. When the good news reached Beijing, Duan Shao finally closed his eyes with a smile and passed away quietly.

(5) Life wisdom

Military strategist Duan Shao was brave and good at fighting all his life and made immortal contributions to the Northern Qi Dynasty. As a politician, he "had the wind of a prime minister" when he entered the DPRK to participate in politics, and "gained political benefits and won the hearts of officials and people" when he served as the head of military and political affairs abroad, and his reputation was beyond ordinary people. As a dutiful son and brother, he is very filial to his stepmother. He once begged Liang, his stepmother, to be the monarch, and successively awarded the meritorious military service to two half-brothers. As a loving father, he strictly taught his children to be sensible, and set an example for Gao Qian in the Northern Qi Dynasty to be an official, a son and a father.

From the establishment of the Northern Qi Dynasty to its incorporation into the territory of the Northern Zhou Dynasty, there are only 28 years left. Most emperors, including Gao Huan, are abnormal, cruel, tyrannical and murderous. Duan Shao, as a royal family, assisted the seven emperors before and after, and was able to keep the golden body intact in the complicated political stage of the Northern Qi Dynasty. He was able to die well in the Northern Qi Dynasty, known as the "beast dynasty", only by three words.

Rule number one: "Be careful." This is the true nature of Duan Shao.

He is Gao Huan's nephew and Wu Chengdi's in-laws. Although he has made great achievements, he never takes credit. He is proud of himself. He is "moderate and cautious", cautious in words and deeds, high-profile and low-key. Filial piety at home, maternal love to control children, "win the morale of the soldiers" in the military camp, respected by ministers in the DPRK, full of personality charm.

The second one: "color." This is a little disguise.

The emperors of the Northern Qi Dynasty were all dissolute. In order to protect themselves, Duan Shao had to keep a high degree of consistency with the leaders in thought and action. He often changes into plain clothes and travels around the city and countryside, looking for flowers and asking for willows everywhere. The emperors were relieved to hear that Duan Shao had also "given up prostitution" and liked it very much. Every time I am rewarded, I have a dozen beautiful women. In order to perform a unique skill, Duan Shao heard that the widow Huangfu was a stunning beauty and asked the emperor to give her to him. The emperor strongly disagreed because Huangfu's ex-husband rebelled and died. Duan Shao had the cheek to ask again and again, but the emperor couldn't beat him and had to give him Huangfu's house. If Duan Shao gets the treasure, he will take her to the villa to hide the beauty and treat her as his wife. This incident caused an uproar in Beijing, and everyone laughed at his lewdness.

The third one: "Hey." This is a little self-pollution.

Duan Shaoguan has a high rank and high income. However, due to careful consideration, he is very stingy to all relatives and friends, so he is regarded as a "particularly greedy" miser by relatives and friends; In order to spread his reputation of being stingy in the ruling and opposition circles, Duan Shao performed many tricks: when the emperor married the princess to Duan Shao's son, many of Duan Shao's colleagues came to congratulate him, and some even volunteered to work overtime at his house after work to help organize the wedding. Duan Shao's reward for these colleagues who have worked at home for more than ten days is that each person will only be given a glass of wine at the wedding banquet. This cup of wine got what he wanted, which made Duan Shao's stingy reputation shake the ruling and opposition parties and became a joke for many years.

Duan Shao's survival wisdom, in the form of "self-pollution", has little reference value for people today. Only one word "caution" tells the only way to be human in the workplace!
