On June 3rd, 2020, Times Higher Education ranked Asian universities in 2020, and Peking University ranked second.

On June 10, 2020, QS World University Ranking was published as 202 1, and Peking University ranked 23rd.

In August 2020, academic ranking of world universities ranked 49th in the world.
